Tamil Virtual University

The State Government of Tamil Nadu in early 1999 announced its intention to create a Tamil Virtual University. Institute of Asian Studies scholars have been contributing to the Government's efforts to establish the TVU on a solid footing and at the earliest possible date, perhaps during year 2000. The Institute of Asian Studies will be an active partner institution of the TVU, contributing content for the TVU's digital library and courses. For details, see these articles:
